Maddy is a very cute name, it's my daughter's name and I do spell it Maddy, so since it's my daughter's name I would have to say no it would not make a good name for a dog, but it's a very cute name.

I don't understand why Maddy WOULDN'T be a good name. It's a person name? So what! People name their dogs Maggie, Tisha, Jake, Sydney, etc. Human named are just fine.
But I would suggest going with the spelling Maddie instead....unless your pup is a bit aggressive, lol.
And I agree, she's YOURS....name her what you want!:)

I have a friend name maddy (mathew) , so if its a girl I would go with maddie(madeline) but yeah its a cute name!
