Not sure exactly what scrunch means, but I have this crimping iron by Conair. This gives you that crimped look and the result really lasts for a long time. Sorry if this isn't what ur looking for.

By scrunched you mean kinda permed looking without the perm? If so start off with it wet add some moose and start to blow dry as you blow dry scrunch it with your hand as it starts to dry spritz some hair spray on and keep scrunching. I wouldnt dry it all the way but just almost. You can also tease it just a bit. after it as air dryed the rest of the way.Good luck! P.S. It takes a lotta hair spary!

To scrunch your hair depends on the length and the texture. If your hair is short and thick it will be easier to do.
Wet your hair thoroughly using water or setting lotion, or foam wrap,
comb your hair to the back - use a light gel such as queen helene or dove or even isoplus,
place the tooth of your comb through the hair on the scalp,
push the hair forward in a S shape, and voila!
you really have to take time to get the look you want

I had the same problem. My hair is super thick. Wash your hair in the morning and then blow dry it until it is just damp. Then take a really good moose and put a ton in- while scrunching. Apply the moose while scrunching 2-3 times. then blow dry on LOW until it is dry. Good Luck this works for my difficult hair! Angie

The trick to a good scrunch is hairsparay. Spray your strand of hair with hairspray, ball it up and dry it until it is comepletely dry (start with hair damp, not too wet) Let it drop and move to your next chunk. Once it is scrunched, spray again and let it be. Don't play with it too much. Continue doing your head like this.

Mousse.. and take your fingers and squeeze your hair . there is a product called Curl Booster that is great for scrunching .make sure you have your hair combed / brushed out first . you don't want to do that after because it will straighten your scrunch,

Shampoo or wet it. W hen it is almost dry, put gel or mousse in it. Then blow dry on low settling with one hand while scrunching small amounts of hair in the other.

at first when I would try and scrunch it, it never looked like it was supposed to. but then what i did(that finally worked) was i put my hair up in a bun at night(braids work too) and then in the morning i would take it out. then I would put moose i my hair, then gel, moose again, and finally i would use hairspray(but after you put in the hairspray don't touch it because if you do then it won't look good).

i agree with angie and wilhem... i dry my hair until it is damp, then put mouse in it and then scrunch until it is almost dry, then i spray it with hair spray, and scrunch some more. then i dry it til it is dry, scrunching periodically. Then when it is dry i spray with hair spray one more time. Then i put my cute little clips in and go.

well have you washed your hair then put gel in it then scrunched it? If so then it doesn't matter because people have different hair types. like damaged and colored and silky and trenched.
