Many states that formerly had Breed Specific bans have had them repealed through the appeals process. I'd check your local ordiance however since the state can set a law but a local municipality can set up it's own directive regarding breed specific laws. I live next to a housing development that bans any dog known to be a 'pitbull' or pitbull breed, rotties, dobermans, and german shepherds even though the state does not ban any of these breeds. It's better to check on the local level and work your way up from there.

As far as I know yes. I have owned many pit bulls and it sucks that they have the bad reputation everyone believes. It is all in how you raise a dog. A**holes just use pits to fight because of their body shape and how fast they are. The meaniest dog I had ever been around was a freaking Chihuahua. And I want to add one more thing. You always hear about pits attackig people on tv. You never hear of any other dog. That is how the public works. It makes a "good story" for the news. Its a shame.

I think so - or a lot of my neighbors are in trouble - best to call the local police in the town you are living in

pit bulls are very evil.......they killed somebody near where i live...i dont like them.....but i think theyre legal
(they are cute though)
