Bush was just in Maine. He went to see Daddy for the 20 th. time since he was appointed to office by the Bias high Court. Big protest there. Since Bush is down to under 40 percent he is hiding his vacations better now. Good question. As you know most republicans do not work. When they need work done they call a Democrat to do it. If we Demos did not work the Economy would trash. Read my blog about a gas price protest.
BTW, now you know why Republicans love illegals, they want more not less, 22 million is not enough to replace the Democrats that do the work for the Republicans.

I am assuming you are lumping ALL democrats together.
Newsflash, not all democrats are against the war. Many use their brain to think for themselves and are not mind numb zombies that just tow the party doctrine.

If you or they didn't go to work for a week . Think of how much less money you or they would have to support the massive welfare state that they fight to keep so hard that they keep their political power over the poor with.

People would find out pretty quickly that Democrats aren't all lazy people on welfare when the economy takes a nosedive.

You'd probably see Congress actually do some work...and state and local governments would be free from time-wasting legislation that means nothing to anyone....plus it would make my world happier....

The Republican party would lose about a billion dollars, the military would cease to function effectively, and maybe, just maybe the whole country would wake up and see who really has the power of the people.

well 1/4 of our companies would close for a week and 1/4 would lose welfare for a week

Hope you have enough vacation saved. If not you could lose your job. Either way your taxes will be paid, and we'll replace you in a second with people who really want to work. So go for it.

The country would stop, and it would stay stopped because the Republican CEOs would have fired them. And the Republicans have set it up so that there would be no unemployment insurance for the pacifist Dems, no health care coverage, no nothin'. There would, however, probably be a blacklist of some kind.
Otherwise, it's a great idea.
