Chances are there is. Most people end up with someone they love for the rest of their lives. For the ones that don't, it may be that they just missed some opportunities. I guess what I mean to say is, even if it's not the case that there is someone for everyone, it is better for us to go through life believing it to be true, for the sake of our happiness. And once you find someone for you, then it doesn't matter if there is someone for everyone :)

Yes. But more than likely if you go looking for that special someone you won't find the right one. I found the right one because I didn't look for him, it just wound up that way. It's ok to keep trying but don't expect to find true love rigtht away. You'll be fine.
