I can see the top two muscles of the abs but i have a small patch of fat over the bottom four. I am athletically built and i play sports, but i still have it. How can I get rid of it?

While I was in the military, we did all kinds of stomach crunches by the hundreds(instead of the back braking sit-ups)...every freakin morning. It paid off though. Be sure to give yourself variety in your workouts. Becuase if you do one thing repetitively, you'd be stuck using one muscle group. We'd always pass our PT tests (APFT).

However, it is often very difficult to lose all body fat around the waist and hips.

Do a lot of sit ups and your local beer and wine place can help you with the 6 pack :o)

You have to be on a low fat diet as well as exercising. You can not just do sit ups.

good luck, you're gonna need it, it's the hardest place to shift fat from. healthy eating, cardio, and maybe some sit ups (but dont overdo it)

you can diet and go to the gym.if you be long to one.
don't ever give up it might take a will.
