cost depends on the salon.

you might have irritation and bumps for a few hours. apply bikini zone gel (get it at walmart)
to the area and avoid swimming pools for the first day.

as far as pain, well, the results are worth it. you get more used to it the more you go. the results last 1-2 weeks on me, but i regrow my hair very quickly- i have to shave every other day. you may be good for 1-2 months if you only have to use a razor once a week.

the amount of hair off? up to you. personally, as long as it's neat and not sticking out of your panties, it's all good. getting too much hair off will look worse when it grows back it and having less hair down there will make you look like you have a bigger tummy, so i wouldn't go brazillian unless i were like a size 2.

I know it sounds wierd, but i love waxing. It does hurt a bit more than your eyebrows (from a one to a five on a scale from one to ten). For me, the pain goes away almost immediately and then, whe I walk out of the salon I feel a bit soar for about fifteen minutes or so. Just make sure you wear loose clothing so it doesn't rub against your skin. You should be fine in about an hour or two. Depending on the person who waxes you and their technique, you could get ingrown haris, but it's very uncommon. Also, I have found that you shouldn't have sex that same day or go to the gym or beach til the next morning. Good luck!!! Have fun with it. The pain isn't so bad, especially if you like how it looks afterward.

It didn't hurt that much...there is a lot less irritation than if you shave...I only had a couple bumps...but I'm extremely sensitive there...and they only lasted a few days. Mine cost $25, but that was in Oklahoma, where everything is pretty cheap. I would assume it would cost somewhere in that range though. I would say the pain is equal to getting the eyebrows done....not a lot worse....

I don't think you are stupid, but let me just say this, you won't want to sit down for a very long time! Try using a shaving gel on the area you want shaved. You won't get bumps or irritation (provided you have a good and fairly new blade) and it lasts longer than shaving with soap.
