Not all Christians claim to read the mind of God. Whenever something happens tragic happens in life, I try not to blame blame God for it, but it is certainly possible that God can cause tragedy to strike. The same holds true for "good" things. A tactic that Satan uses to ditract people from God is give them power, but God also blesses people. The Bible does say that every good and perfect gift comes from God, but the notice the qualification: good and perfect. Not everything that is seemingly good is good. This follows the saying, "all that glitters isn't gold" so to speak. Rather than trying to figure out what is and is not God's blessing and curse, I tend to try and echo the words of Job:

1:21 "Naked I came from my mother's womb,
And naked I shall return there
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away.
Blessed be the name of the Lord

2:10 "Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?"

Job was a blessed man and in a matter of minutes loest all he had, then his health was afflicted. He asked God why, and God's answered Job by appealing to his majesty and creative being. At the end of the book, Job says,

42:3-4

"I know that You can do all things,
And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.
'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?'
"Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand,
Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know."

Job admits that he cannot know the mind of God, and in doing so repents that he even tried. It is human nature to want to know, and sometimes we do find out, but not all the time. Because of this, I try to echo Job, and say the Lord Gives and takes away and try and take the good with the bad, whatever it may be without an explanation.

God's mind can be read but this requires lot of meditation, knowledge and wisdom and not the typical Christian's remarks as if some cover up is being done to justify their misfortune and absolve God of shortcomings. I do believe that When God set forth the laws( spiritual and Physical) into motion he won't lift a finger to change it in the midstream to favor the few. Because such acts construed God's imperfection.

You are blessed or tested or whatever because you either violated or follow the rule of law.

I;m sorry you have such a negative view of Christians, but this how I believe. God has a plan for every life on this planet. There is a reason for everything that happens. Prayers are never unanswered just because it wasn't the result you may have wanted. It isn't that you can read God's mind, it's that you believe that no matter what happens he is there to guide and comfort you through anything, and there is a purpose for everything good or bad in our lives. I hope you can find a true Christian and talk with them and find out what we already know, that knowing Jesus Christ brings you peace in mind & soul. I'm a better person to my family, friends and my community.

When one is born of God, then one is a child of God. I can pray to God 24/7 and He answers me. Sometimes a good job is a direct answer to prayer requests. Also with the other Christian claims.

No one can read God's mind. God speaks to us and reveals something though. God is all knowing. God's ways are above our ways, so we need to just trust & obey Him even though we think our ways may be better. Experience reveals that His way is the best way.

Everything works out for the good for those that put their trust in Him.

In all things give thanks for this pleases God.

No human has the ability to read God's mind.
He is our creator, we were created architecturally by
God's hand. Yet, he did not gave us a 1/4 of his intelligence, or else we would be like the devil trying to rule this world.

If scientists, get exhausted trying to understand the what's and the how's, Would you imagine a simple minute of seeing God's mind? We would be dead in the 2nd minute.
God's mind is way too much for us to bear.

Yes i can read gods thoughts its easy. God thinks its much easier to answer the prayers of a few than that of the many. Henceforth all the pain and suffering in the world. Example, millions of people are starving to death this very second, but oh sally from new jersey prays to god to lose weight. Now obviously it is much easier to help sally lose 10 pounds then help 20 million people gain it, her wish is granted. Or, hitler has one prayer to kill as many jews as possible but 10,000,000 of those same jews prayed not to be tortured and murdered. Well, lets face it, it is much easier to grant hitlers wish. Even when it comes to his most loyal of followers the Knight Templar he devoted their very existance to the protection of Gods word and his people. Well, it was much easier to grant king philips one prayer of all of the templars wealth than the numerous prays to stop some of the most inhumane tortures ever devised upon the templars. Come on it is obviously a much better choice to help a tyantical king gain even more wealth than prevent your most loyal followers to be slow roasted alive. The only thing i haven't figured out is why god decided to wipe out 250, 000 people on the anniversary to his only sons murder 2 years ago. I suppose he was a little ticked around the holidays and figured that taking it out on a few 3 world nations would make him feel better.

When you were a child could you fully understand the minds of your parents and why they did things?

No!

God created all the world and that includes all of us.

Man is only beginning to understand how God could have done this.

How can we possibly understand the mind of God when He is that complex and that much older than us?

All we can do is trust, like any child trusts their parents, that God knows what is best for us and follow where He leads.

Just like any parent would know what is best for their children and lead them safely through life.

yup...it's not about reading God's mind, it's about understanding His word. i'll be honest and say, i don't always understand what happens, and why it happens, but i can say that He indeed has a plan, and whatever it is, it's good. it's not about knowing what's going on, but just more or less just understanding that God is just and though it may not appear to be, there is some sort of reason these things are going down. you can only begin to understand the mysteries of our God, once you spend time with Him and His word.
