(Wotsits is brand of puffed cornmeal snack sold in the UK)

Over the years I've fed all manner of food to ducks. I've discovered there's only one food they won't eat: Wotsits. They never touch them. Even cheese flavour, universally acknowledged as the best.

Is this because they are instinctively sensing something deeply unwholesome about it?

ducks are extremely intelligent and realise wotsits are disgusting but thank you for taking the time and trouble to inform us all of this without this fact im sure our lives would have been that little bit more empty

geese are omnivores to specific extents-- they seem to choose a gentle palette of meals possibilities, (i've got under no circumstances seen them eat rubbish). to characteristic to the checklist from different solutions, a hungry mallard might desire to dine on tadpoles, frogs, backyard vegetables and tomatoes (particularly). BTW, the duck is the female chicken and the drake is the male version of the water chicken. Daffy Duck and Donald Duck might desire to be gender perplexed!

Easy - it's a question of simple logic.

I eat Wotsits, and I eat duck.
Duck's don't eat me, so they don't eat Wotsits.
I have however, been bitten by a swan - have you tried feeding swans Wotsits?

They don't like the preservatives, flavouring, artificial colours, edible gum, monosodium glutamate and antioxident E320.
