If the roots are around the nerve (Inferior dental not facial) then it will require removal by an oral surgeon.
There is a risk of permanent damage to the nerve but it can be done..
There is no real other solution unfortunately especially if it is impacted.
Ibuprofen at regular intervals may take away the pain but it may reoccur if the tooth is nor removed.

I had impacted wisdom teeth when I was 23 and I have never known pain like it before or since. No pain-killers were able to touch it. I sympathise with you! Try Syndol, it is great and includes a muscle relaxant. If it's possible for you to have them removed under general anaesthetic, I'd advise you to go for it. I did this and it was worth it! I had so many infections during the time they were impacted, and after the operation I felt so much better.

The last time I got this sort of pain I went to the A&E ward at a hospital at 2am in the morning and asked to see an emergency dentist. Needless to say they did nothing as well as the private dentist.
There seems to be nothing one can do about wisdom, however painful it gets.

Oil of clove. Can be bought in health food stores. Soak some cotton wool and hold against the tooth, if poss shut mouth and keep wool next to tooth. It will numb the area and make you feel better. Careful not to touch the wool with your tongue when its in there cause it tastes gross!
I feel your pain - I had a rotten tooth recently that was very painful and had to be pulled!!!

Have them taken out! I know - sounds harsh, but I finally got rid of the headaches and jaw aches after all of mine were removed. You could try some oragel it works pretty well and take 2 or 3 Advil/ibuprofen to help with the pain.

For now you just need to go to the store and buy something to numb up that area in your teeth and gums. Over-the-counter medication is called Orajel. On Monday Morning go straight to the dentist so he can take x-rays and decide what to do. Most likely he'll decide to take your wisdom teeth out.

Go see an Oral Surgeon. They specialize in teeth like that. He/She should be able to get it out for you. You may need antibiotics in the meantime. Call and make an appointment.
By the way, mine was like that too and I had mine removed by an oral surgeon and had minimal post-operative problems and no long term problems with the nerve.

Pull the tooth out and you will earn yourself £1 maybe £10 if you are lucky from the tooth fairy.

wash your mouth with warm water mixed with high concentrate of salt ...it will stop the ache and swell...go to a dentist and have the tooth extracted for good. I had all my wisdom teeth extracted at one go under GA.
