Saying "I Love You" is much more difficult. At least for me.

I've never earnestly said it to anyone, up until Friday. And then it was to this guy I've been seeing up until then, because he had to go off to college.

"I'm Sorry" is not that difficult to say. Because sometimes you have to say it, but saying you love someone opens a lot of doors. What if they don't love you back? What if they do? Anything could happen. There is a much bigger grey area with "I Love you".

For me, none of it by the most part. However, I hardly say I'm sorry without stating my side of the issue. To some that may seem unacceptable and "not a real apology", but that's the way it is.

It is better to apologize while justifying your actions, than not to apologize at all.

As far as saying I love you, this is something I say to my husband at least three times every hour while we are awake, together and in touch when we are not together.

You are ever so right... it's about 50%/50% to both sides of your question but then again sometimes it real hard to say I love you to someone that doesn't even know that you are there, even though your are together most of the times. It sometimes it a catch 22. If you do, it's wrong and if you don't it's worse. I know cause I'm going with this right now. It really is something to think about.

Both, It took me 1 year to say I love you to a girl, and has been taking 6 months on her to say I'm sorry.

Pride so often stops us from saying I am sorry, while it is very easy to most people to say I love you, because at a very early age most of us learn to tell our parents that we love them so loving someone comes totally natural.

I think its more difficult for some people to say, "I'm sorry." Saying I'm sorry means admitting fault. And some people would rather die than ever admit they were wrong.

for me... i love you
sorry isnt hard at all..
you think about what to say once or twice
then its all considered in the past...
cuz you think you have already said it...
but you havent ..
itll be no different once you do say it...

but receiving a "sorry" is kind of same as telling an "i love you"

sorry's easier. i love you should come from deep love, so to say it otherwise is difficult for many unless it's to their mate.
