Yeah, They were 7p a bag and the only reason why I learnt my 7 times table!
("14p gets you two bags, 21p gets 3 bags!")
Half the bag would be full of the broken bits that were razor sharp and would choke you if you tried to eat them!
They were so great though!

I remember in about 1956 a new snack called 'Potato Puffs' being sold. They were like little round hollow balls of potato cooked like crisps. In those days crisps didn't have flavours other than 'potato' but like lots of other good things from those days they seemed to disappear. I've still seen such snacks available but infrequently.

Yeah, I loved the tomato flavoured one!! I find a few corner shops usually does them (very scarce and not my local ones!) and still sell them at 10p (the price I paid for them years ago).
Do you remember the crisps "oink" that were bacon flavoured and shaped like pigs? I miss them just as much as puffs, but I think they were withdrawn because they may have been seen as offensive to non-pork eaters?

I remember! Dont know where you could get them now though, maybe in Europe?!
Do you remember a chocolate bar called Secret? It was very delicate and moussey on the inside and had cardboard inside the wrapper to protect it...they were yummy!
