I would say you have night light on for her in her room, and teddy bears to snuggle up to......so call nanny 911. Seriously I think she has gotten to where she has learned she can snuggle in with mom and just likes it there. Hopefully she is not that afraid. Maybe a radio with some soft music?

This also happened to me with my daughter. With time and patience she got through it fine. Children at that age get seem to get nightmares I was the same way. I think its their maginations getting the best of them. I was so afraid of the dark that everything by my window looked spooky. It 's also said that when as child is being molested this seems to happen to them ask your daughter questions . When I asked my daughter if she was ever bothered by anyone she claim to never been molested, so I am thinking its a phases she was going through. It's like when children think the boogie man is under the bed or a monster hiding inside the closet. Be patient with your precious little one in your patience's she'll feel comfort, and the nurturing of your love.

Address her fears...if it's "monsters under the bed" Kill them, together. If it's something else, maybe you should just talk about things till you stumble on the issue. If this dependency continues, you can look forward to it surfacing in other areas as well. School, over night camp outs, visits to realitives for the summer months, all these will become traumatic events rather than simple parts of growing up.

Talk to your pediatrician as to what to do to deal with it. Children that age (and younger) do tend to have nightmares and can't always distinguish between what's real and what's a dream, and their own bed or bedroom is the source of their fear, so simply sending them back to their own bed without dealing with the problem could become detrimental. Take her to the doctor.

Let her crawl into bed with you because at this time it is really important. Children do not always believe you or tell you what is happening completely because it is hard to express themselves. In time this will take care of itself and in the meantime try to find out why it is happening. She may not know exactly.

have you tried to sleep next to her until she's completely asleep and if she happens to wake up in the middle of the night still bring her back to her bed room to her bed and do it all over again or your kid might never be broken of that habit

I was like that when I was little. My dad just forced me to go back to bed and got mad if I didn't. She'll grow out of it after a while.

maybe she is just scared to be alone....maybe if you get a pet for..if you can...she might feel safer...if it stayed in the room with her..eventually she will grow out of it....also tell her if she does go to your room maybe she can sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag..or if you have the room put a small sofa in there for her
