I sure wish I did, or just had someone to get to know..I am 23 years old majoring in Business.. I would like to have true friend like you see in the movies..Someone who is down to earth, caring and considerate.. Is there anyone out there who feels the same way as I do?

I have my husband who is my very best friend and I wouldn't change him for anything, though I do wish I had a ' woman best friend' but I really do think they only exist in movies to be honest, I have always been there for my friends, dropped what I was doing at a moments notice to be there for them, only to be dropped like a hot piece of coal when something better came alone, I hate to say it but it leaves you feeling very un-trusting of anyone else that comes into your life after been hurt so many times by so called friends, as much as I love and adore my husband there are times I could just do with a 'friend' to talk about girlie things and the like, maybe we all have a 'best friend' like that and are yet to meet them.

I wish I had Friends full stop. I realy don't have any. After i left school me and my friends stayed in touch for like a year but we all went off to college or uni and lost touch, now ive left college Ive lost touch with all my friends there and Im in employment now and have no friends (me and my manager don't get on). Id love to just go girly shopping and on a night out clubbing. Where did everyone go?

Yes i wish i had a best friend, i have good friends but good friends come and go, to me a best friend would be for life, someone to laugh with, someone to cry with, someone who you'll be there for and they there for you, when you want to celebrate or when your feeling down they'll always be there... And when your old and weary they'll still be there, talking about the good times and helping you make it through another day :-)

i wished! i'm 21 and due 2 a previous violent partner of 3yrs i lost all my friends as i wasn't allowed 2 talk 2 any1 or have a mobile phone.
now i have a nice partner and 2 young kids so i still dont get out 2 make new friends. wanna help me out?

HMM! I tot i had, but i guess humans are not them types u can trust anyway..Bestfriend or no bestfriend, u got yourself and that should be enuf...peaceful that way. Besides, people are always going to let u down. Trust me, doesn't matter how long u know them, there comes a time when they just mess up and u get messed up with the mess..lol.. So, don't be too hard on your soul, and even if u do find wot u r looking for, don't rely on them too much.

well, i know what you mean, but the whole "best friend" thing is not really my scene. I don't really require someone else to go with me, or to hangout with. I like to do things on my own. I like to do what i like when i like. I have kids and a husband who require my attention, so another person in the equation demanding of my attention, is just a pain.
Don't misunderstand, i have lots of friends, but i pick and chose who i spend brief amounts of time with. and they have to not be needy...can't stand whiney, wingey women.

i am 21+ and i am very blessed
i really do have one of those true best friends
there has never been any misunderstandings between us ever and we have been through alot together
family and relationship crisis but nothing ever changed our loyalty towards each other
i have to say that we may two in a million
thank god for that.

I do - his names Phil - he's my best mate in the world.
Was his best man the other month !!!
We used to go everywhere together - we've always been there to laugh and cry together
When ever we have split up with girlfriends we're always there - whenever we're sad we ring eache other - or even just for a pointless chat !!!

i wish i had a bestfriend that i can talk to and a trustworthy.someone that if you tell a secret nobody will know except both of you.but it's hard to find a person that you lean on when ur happy or ur sad
