I presume you are an American, if so, before you make such a drastic decision to emigrate to a foreign country, You will have to consider a possible foreign language problem, unless you decide to settle in a foreign English speaking country. Then naturally, quite a lot of available cash to help yourself along until you will find a suitable employment position. I would however advise you to go it alone first and when you settle down, then get your family to join you. But before you make the final decision to live your country, perhaps, you will find whatever you are searching for in a different place right in the USA. So if I were you I would first move to another part of your great country. Lastly ask yourself why people even risk their own life to emigrate to your country, are they perhaps telling you that you are already living in one of the best country in the world, and you are only experiencing some temporary setbacks, relax, try to run a clean life, make sure you have enough rest and sleep, explain your problems to somebody you really trust, and in no time the pressure will lift, have faith, be strong. Life at times gets hard but get your courage out and in time everything will be fine again
Good luck

Well you have to look at the map of the planet after 2012 to see most of the world will be under water.I think Australia is going to be safe in some areas.

I advise you not come to my country (The United States). We are soooo flooded with immigrants that are legal and some that are not and it would be hard to find peace and quiet here.

Canada. They have a great point system and if you are educated, you should have no problem entering.
2) you don't have to melt in and forget your country. Their immigration policy is mature: if you can't love your home country , you'll never love your new one!
3)it's nice and cool, unlike the US
