Microsoft Word is a typing program which costs atleast over $100 for the student edition. Bill Gates wouldn't be happy if it were availble to download for free. It is part of the Microsoft Office suite. The cheapest version is the standard edition. You can download the software from this website http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/default.mspx
after downloading you must follow the walkthrough to install and purchase the software. If you choose not to purchase the software if will expire after so many days.

go to http://www.openoffice.org and download the whole suite of programs for free, it will work with all MS programs files....so ive been told
