You need a program that you can load the zip file into and that will allow you to extract ythe contents of the file.
The best one around is called Winzip and you can download an evuation version (that never times out) from http://www.winzip.com

download winzip, or pkunzip from http://www.tucows.com a free (and reputable) download site
coffe cup also do a good unzip program (can get it from same site)
incidentally, if you have just got yourself a tom tom, did you know you can get more points of interest for it
