Worshipping satan is just as pointless as worshipping god. He is just a imagenary character like god. In satanism satan is a representation of our beliefs and values here is some of what satan represents:

1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!

2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!

5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!

6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!

7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!

8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!

9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Witchcraft states that "As long as it harm noone, do as you will."
Which quickly breaks down to, "As long as I don't think it's hurting anyone, I'll do what I want."
Which is basically the Satanic slogan, "Just do what you want
anyway." How do you call this a life-loving religion?
Satanism is how evil will fool the world. Enticing them with
power and thrills, which the body lives for.
Paul said in Galatians. "Now that you have known God, why do you turn again to the weak, and beggarly elements? Do you again wish to be in bondage?"
Magic is a crutch. Needing props that are only extensions of
the power of the spirit within us. An easy way to gain use of ones
spiritual power, and it has its price.
We have Karma with spiritual beings as well, and things to work out in spirit, like breaking away from the planetary spheres. Those
who think they are controlling spiritual forces through astrology and witchcraft, only bind themselves more to those things.
Put that on your pipe and smoke it! Nothing personal.

There are various forms of Satanism.

Some forms see Satan as symbolic.

Some forms worship Satan literally, as Lucifer, the angel of light.

Some forms recognize that Satan is evil, but choose to follow him for power, drugs, sex etc.

Cordially,

Because every culture has a concept of devils, and they are never percieved as life afirming or positive. Argo, people who have a religion centered around evil will be percieved evil, or at least insane.

I agree, i am a wiccan and the christians think "ITS EVIL". I think ALL the christians should read a real book about the religion before they judge. And here i thought they were suspose to respect all religions.

I agree. Some people just have their heads too far up their asses to actually learn about anything outside of the bible. If more people actually took the time to educate themselves about Satanism, they would surely hate it a lot less.

Ok, please don't take this the wrong way, but have you ingested any mind-altering substance? If not, why on earth would you think that Satanists do not worship Satan. What do you think they worship (yes, folks, I said what, not who). I think you need to look up the definition. Perhaps you are mistaking it for Wiccanism.

Anyone who rejects the one, true God, is in for some inevitable, very serious and eternal problems, no matter what they claim to believe.

Stop deluding yourself (or letting yourself be deceived) before it's too late.
