Did everyone forget about the fight with Karo Parysian and Nick Diaz? Why doesn't anyone give Diego respect? He is a good fighter. His stand up does need some work but he is improving. Did you see the knee that knocked out Karo's tooth. It was priceless. I had heard that the winner of the Karo and Diego fight was going to get a title shot against the winner of Hughes vs St. Pierre. Now it is going to be Hughes vs B.J. Penn because GSP suffered a torn groin. I do think that Diego has what it takes but I would really like to see him fight a few more top 10 welterweights before a title shot.

Diego may have a good record, but he hasn't proven himself. Matt Hughes would cream him. Diego needs to get some more experience and fight the likes of Joe Riggs, George St. Pierre, and BJ Penn before he even dreams about a belt shot.

I hope so! Diego is a rising star in MMA. He's undefeated and has well rounded skills. I think he gets a shot in the next year.

he has a nice record, but he skills are not too good. Hes very strong tho, but if he beats someone like geroges st pierre or someone with that skill. Then he will be able to go for a title shot.

He's gonna get the winner of Hughes-Penn. Look for that in December probably. Most likely he will fight and lose to Hughes.
