You can spend a lot on shampoo's but really s long as you keep changing the cheaper ones like suave brand it is healthy for your hair, salons always try to sell you their brand but like I said just keep switching around the cheaper brands and its is just as good for your hair.Use a good conditioner and deep condition once a week or every 2 weeks,I usually use an oil deep conditioner.

I fell in love with Dove Shampoo and conditioner! Any formula is very gentle on your locks and it smells soooo pretty!
P.S. Some shampoos still say to lather, rinse, repeat. YOU SHOULD NOT REPEAT. It was discovered that the "repeat" was just a scam to get you to use more product. Repeating strips your hair of natural oils that protect your folicles from being damaged. Also, to avoid "buildup" and your hair being flat and greasy, you should only condition the tips of your hair. I grab my hair with my wet hand and work the cond. in prob. about 2 - 3 inches. Use a product like thermasilk leave in conditioner spray if you use a blow dryer or curling iron. It really does make a difference!

I've found the simplest shampoo works great if you're opting for purely clean hair. I use V05 Normal shampoo and wash twice.. once to get the oil and everything else bad out of my hair, and a second time to actually clean the hair shafts. I've found this works even better than some of the 'professional' shampoos, and its a lot cheaper too! Can't go wrong.

There is this brand, it is called Kerastese. They have a whole line of shampoo, conditioner, frizz-control serums, and tons more. This expensive but yet "miracle" working system is used by professionals only, and you can only find it at Gene Juarez salons. It's totally creamy and silky, and leaves your hair residue free with a touch like fresh satin. I totally recommend this brand above all others.

The Best ones that soften your hair are probably Pantene Pro-V or Garnier Fruictus...like the kind you can get at Costco!
