Sex before marriage is a sin, as is sex outside of marriage period.
My beliefs do not prevent my wife and I from using contraceptive measures which prevent fertilization of the egg. Anything which terminates pregnancy after conception is ending life.

i believe in saving sex for the one you plan to spend the rest of your life with, and not until the "deal is sealed," if you know what i mean. why drag all those other relationships into your marriage? "Hey honey, by the way, I had sex with 3 other people before we were married..." mmm, don't think a spouse would appreciate that!

i have to accept it, since the prevailing winds as promoted through our media shove this subject at us. i do not think that all or even half of the young adults are having sex, as portrayed on tv and in the movies.
i teach abstinence to my children, regardless of their gender, and expect them to practice such. that said, i am not stupid. i make certain that they know to use contraception in the form of protection from STDs as well as pregnancy.
they all know that i will not support them for abortion as a form of birth control.
