It depend on how you look at it if ur the type of person that is optimistic and happy about life you will see the glass half full and if u think as life as a ***** then you'll know that the glass is half empty

When emptying a glass, it is half-empty when you reach the half-way point.

When filling a glass, it is half-full when you reach the half-way point.
