Debate? Actually the shortest and most interesting answer could be the most correct as opposed to the longest most boring answer.

For example:
GOD created the world/universe, through His Son.
Sin entered the world when man and woman chose to listen to Satan (speaking through a serpent) rather than listen to and obey GOD.
[Sin is the reason all the horrible things happen in this world.]
GOD sent His Son Jesus to be born as GOD-man to teach us His ways and to restore our relationship to GOD.

Jesus lived a perfect life, carried our sins and illnesses and went to the cross for all of us. He died and rose again, going to heaven after appearing to His disciples and then sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with men and women who accept Jesus as their Saviour.

His disciples willingly faced death to preach the good news of Jesus the Christ.

Jesus wasn't simply a good teacher or prophet as some claim but as He Himself claimed, Jesus laid claim to be the Son of GOD.

As a Christian, I could not. My God says I am to put no other Gods before Him, so therefore I couldn't debate. It would be one big argument, which is contradictory to what God wants.

Not necessarily... it would probably be the answer given by a student to BS the professor... might even work.

Not necessarily :)

Please be aware that there is scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm ).

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ. (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

Cordially,
John
