If you have $15,000 to spend on a car, why not get a new one with full warranty? You can get into a Hyundai Elantra or better.
If you must still go with something a year or more old, you might check into Hondas.
Good luck finding a good car. Many are available. Run a search on Yahoo! or Google for used cars. You might also check places on line that specialize in car sales, such as CarMax.com.

any Honda or Toyota would be a great bet. they last forever, get good gas mileage, and are not too expensive to repair. the Honda civic is a good starter. the civic also comes in a variety of styles (coupe, sedan, hatchback, etc) depending on the year, and they're pretty cheap.
good luck car-hunting

i think of the hot stay away from high quality (replaced the stay away from Neon) is a candy motor vehicle, MSRP starts at 14K. make certain you negotiate down from the MSRP and not from a broker markup! some attempt to get you to barter between the broker markup and the MSRP-- yet you're nonetheless overpaying. you opt to pay under MSRP. concentration has a $2500 rebate genuine now and MSRP starts at around 14K besides. remember you probable wont get the optimal fee to your commerce in-- dealerships hardly do provide you genuine greenback. Ask around to earnings no longer basically expenditures on the hot motor vehicle yet commerce ins-- this might make a great distinction!

I would look at newer cars.Believe it or not15 thousand, good get you a new one.Toyota-,Kia-etc.The cars that are on the lot ,that did not sell before the new models came out, will be your best bet. They want to get rid of their inventory, for tax purposes.
