i took a test and after 3 min there were 2 little pink lines but you could barely see one of them my friend said it was a evaporation line and the other said it was a positive this is the 3rd test and ive already scheduled a doc apt for next week

Yes, it usually means that you are pregnant... check the instructions that came with the test and it should say that if there are two lines, even if one is fainter than the other, that the result is positive. What were the outcomes of the other two tests? Glad you've scheduled a doc appointment... a blood test will be difinitive. Sometimes the hCG in your urine is not strong enough yet... that can lead to the test showing a faint line. Good luck!

u shdnt read a preg test after i think it is 3 min but anytime before that if a pink lines means pregnant there is a good chance i know i called the ept hotline one cos there was a faint pink line and i wasnt sure and that was for the 3rd pregnancy i had and they said any line no matter what shade of pink means a good chance you are pregnant and i was

If the faint line was also pink, I would say yes you're probably pregnant. Both times I was pregnant I could hardly see the lines. But if it was negative, there wouldn't be any line at all. Congratulations!

consider your self pregnant. If you read the packaging it states do not read results after 10 mins. test can be read after 3 min. If you call the 800 number and tell them that you have a dark line and the test line is very faint they will tell you that this is a postive. meaning you are pregnant . a pregnancy test detects a horamon called hcg can be detected as early as 5 days before your missed period. keep your app. and start acting as though you are pregnant and congradulations. I myself had faint line with all of my pregnancy. all 7 of them.

Yes you can definitely be pregnant..... if you weren't.. you wouldn't even have gotten the barely there, second line......,evaporation lines only happen after the test has been sitting around for more that 10 minutes.

If it was still "pink" after the three minutes, than more than likely it was positive. Seeing a doctor is best...good for you. Otherwise, wait a couple days and take another test for better results. I have six little ones, so I am pretty good at reading the tests. I suggest EPT. Good luck!! Babies are blessings!

I've read that however dark or faint that second line is, you're more than likely pregnant because it's pretty unusual to get a false positive.

Yes -- as long as it shows up, that could mean a positive result. It just means the hormone levels are low -- but still existent.

Yes you probably are, same thing happened to me, of 3 tests 2 were positive one was defective.
Go to your GYN/OB to know for sure.
