do you think unsolicited advice is the answer? do you know everything a person has been through? when someone has a problem, do you actually listen, or do you constantly interrupt and say, "you should do this, you should do that, because that's the way it is," and other such nonsense? do you like it when people say this crap to you or does it make you feel worse?

I understand what your asking. People do that to me all the time, I don't think it is the best way to help.

Judge not lest ye be judged. Sometimes we need to listen. If a person wants my advice, then I try to give the best christian answer that I can give. Sometimes, it's not advice they need it is just a listening ear. Each situation is different, but pointing out flaws and faults never helps. Most people get enough of this type of help, they don't need it from me. my only reason for being here is to try and be a light to someone and lift them up if I can. God Bless You.

first off it depends on what u are considering flaws, lets say for example, a wife gets mad at a husband for treating her to hatred and ignorance cause he doesn't get what he wants, who is flawed the husband cause he is hateful and ignorant or the wife cause she is bitchy.and if a person comes to u with a problem is it unsolicited when u give advice. and yes i do listen cause i know the sooner that person realizes i cant and don't want to help them thay go away. and as for when people say that crap to me,i usually ignore them cause thay are giving me excuses for there lack of respect for me or thay are giving unsolicited advise.

No that is not the proper way to do something. In order to do that I first have to remove the spoke in my eye, because I have flaws also, I am not perfect, just trying to be a better person. But that doesn't give me the right to condone others.

Everyone in the world is not meant to be the same. We all have a different purpose. Some are here to make others feel better and some are here to make others feel worse. If someone is being nice to you be grateful because not everyone will be. That's just the way it is.

Free,
Heh.
This is a place where people ask questions in hope of answers. You ignore the answers you can't use, and gather all the good advice. Hopefully, you can find a good answer.

I think that someone needs a nap! lol

(I'm just kidding you)

I actually listen and wait to be asked for help, criticism is helpful to a certain extent depending if it is done in a caring way or if it is done to just hurt someone.

there is hurtful and helpful crticism. when you sit there and dog a person just because you feel like it, then thats not gonna make them a better person that will lower there self esteem. if you tell some one there flaws and then help them to make those better than thats very helpful.
