dont know if this could be interpreted as a 'silver cord' but as a kid i often had dreams when i would be dragged by my foot or both feet upwards by a thin rope or some sort of thread. I'd end up in space just above our planet and mingle with these blobs of light or energy, or play with them anyway. I was always told i had to go back i was up there too long, wasnt ready yet (whatever that meant) and i felt myself being sent back down.
Weird or what.

My problem was that I didn't feel the 'Silver cord'! I woke up one night as a teenager and felt that I had become seperated from my body - I was across the room on the floor and could see myself in my bed but when I tried to move to get back to it (my body) I just felt all this electricity that sent me flinging to the other end of the room. The more I tried to get back the more difficult it was and I was terrified, I even thought I was dead. Eventually I just stopped trying and when I decided to try and go somewhere else I just kind of got sucked back into my body.
Sounds like a crock of sh*t I know ha ha.. and maybe it was just a dream.. But it felt real.

Not wierd at all RedRobin. In fact the rope or thread you describe is often labelled as 'silver cord'. Those other blobs you desribe are actually spirits.
When I was around 8 years old, I remember experiencing a very similar thing. I felt like I was in space, well it was very dark everywhere and my cord reminded me of stretchy blue-tak! It was attached to another blob (spirit) or bigger ball of blue-tak as I thought back then!
You never know RedRobin, one of those spirits you played with back then could have been me.

it was WIERD..... I wanted to stay with him... his name was Jeremy, and he was a paraplegic, and I loved him.... anyway, I felt my spiritual cord then, and i followed it back to the reality state I live in. It was a dream I was in, and I felt the cord pulled, as i had an unborn baby to care for, and it was him that pulled the cord. If I had not been pregnant, I would have stayed, in that case, I would have " died in my sleep." oh, I was 18 at the time,when I had the dream.
