I have no faith, therefore I will not die for it. If, all atheists were being rounded up by a theocratic christian government then I would sacrifice myself for my fellow unbelievers, but I wouldn't martyr myself to spread my religion.

Yes, I honestly believe there is no god, and I have reasons: http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/

So yes, I honestly believe there is no god, and I will applaud you if you give an atheist a best answer here since you asked the question of atheists (though I think it unlikely).

Peace my fellow human being,

What faith, there is no faith. I don't "believe" there is no god, I disbelieve. Big difference there. The term 'believe' would imply that there could be doubt about what we believed, and that would make us agnostics... It is disbelief, lack of believe, and requires no faith... I would die for someone else that I love, not for me in the form of self centeredness over what I want to believe.

In a sense, it's like knowing your birthday is on a certain date...it doesn't take any faith to 'believe' that.

Hehehe, only silly people believing in God are willing to die for His Non-existent Majesty! We, atheists, die only when it happens, yoou theists die in the name of your faith and kill other people in the process. I'd rather be an atheist, than a murderer!

In what situation would I have to die for my 'faith', other than a religious zealot claiming his religion is the only way?

You don't see atheists doing that.

The 'faith' that I have that God doesn't exist is the same 'faith' I have that Santa Clause, Zeus, and Superman don't exist; great fiction though.

Yes, I am. Yes, I honestly believe there is no God. No, threatening me with death will not make me believe. Not only am I unwilling to die, I will fight you as long as there is breath in my body. I promise you, even if I should die like a dog, it will be with my teeth in a throat!

Yes, yes, and yes, but not until I've killed everyone else who was trying to kill me first. Otherwise they'd win. That just wouldn't do at all. It's like Patton said, "you don't win a war by dying for your country. You win it by making the other poor bastard die for his."

Yes. I would not be so immoral as to pay lipservice to a lie just to live. I have no fear of death. In the end, we all die and that's the end of us.
