hmmm....I don't know what's the best brand. I buy it by the gallon at Costco. What I get there is light green also.

I just did a seach and came up with a ton of info. Here's a good place to check it out.

more effective virgin is from the regularly happening chilly urgent of the olives and has low acidity and is not bitter. After the regularly happening urgent the pressed olives are heated to emphasize out residual oils. those oils are acidic and bitter and do not type okay. diverse persons that do unlike olive oil get that detest by making use of the secondary oils. attempt some suitable high-quality more effective Virgin olive oil from Italy, Greece or Spain and also you're going to make certain the replace.

great olive oil comes from spain. plus diffrent companies have different out comes in olive oil. If your looking for less acidity, i suggest you get a darker green evoo. And evoo is more intense than pomace, which some use for sauting, and frying.

cuz, i like to only use evoo for bread dipping to drizzling on salads, since it's so strong.

Extra virgin olive oil should be clear with just the slightest tinge of yellow.See if there is a phone number on the container to call and ask them about the color.
