Go out and look at both litters you have to choose from. The one dog whether it be a Yorkie or chiwawa that captures your heart that is the one you should pick. Both are cute dogs but you have to pick from personality's and looks first. I hope this helped you and good luck with your new friend. I hope you have a long and happy life together.

You AND your parents need to research exactly what breed would best fit the family lifestyle. Yorkies require DAILY grooming, must have excellent dental hygiene to prevent early tooth loss, are difficult to housebreak, and are prone to separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods of time causing them to bark excessively and become destructive. Chihuahuas are stubborn, difficult to housebreak, and fragile. PLEASE do your research and should you decide to purchase from a breeder make sure they are reputable and ethical. Keep in mind that there is NO such thing as a "t-cup", micro, or mini of any Toy breed. It is important also that both parents have sound temperament. Hope this helped!

Both bark. Both you have to walk, feed, train, pay for each month for about 15 years. Yorkies are cuter, I think...I'd choose a Yorkie. Chiwawa's are hairless, skinny and are always shaking like they are overnervous (I couldn't stand that)..

Well, I loved my Yorkie-she was 15 when she died. But, she was also a full-time job, almost like having a child! Of course, she was also sweet as can be, funny, really cute and my constant companion.... Little dogs are also prone to dental problems, respiratory and heart problems...
You must research the breed you want before you decide-It's better to be prepared. I spent a ton of money on vet bills for my little girl-which was worth it, but it's something to consider.

Well I love chihuahuas myself (I have one!). They are the MOST loving little things you'd ever meet. They just love to snuggle, and are soooo cute. Of course, most dogs in the toy group have similar characteristics, so really it comes down to which one you like better. Make sure you do lots of socializing though so you keep away the bad habits that small dogs can develop if they aren't trained properly (barking a lot, being snippy with strangers etc.). So many people don't train their small dogs properly, and this gives them a bad name. I'd go for the chihuahua, they are great, and so smart.

Go to a local shelter and adopt a dog. Shelter dogs make good pets and are greatful to be adopted to a nice family. There are many loving dogs who are being put to sleep everyday. Ask your parents if you could do this instead of buying a dog. dogs are great, you will have an awesome new bestfriend

we have a chiwahwa. She is like a little baby. You have to determine the care of the dog and how much time you have to give to it.Chica is very needy for attention.Shes loving and loyal and very protective of her family. They have a tendancy to be cold alot and need sweaters and blankets.I really dont know much about yorkies. My other 4 dogs are all large. But we love chica just like the big dogs. Its very rewarding.

PSSSHHHH! Little prissy pups! Get a Pit Bull like Jessy, she's the best dog! That'll get some attention. I hate all the hype about pits, they are VERY gentle animals!

You should research the characteristics of each breed of dog. Also what is involved in caring for each one. Then make decision based on the info and what you know of yourself as to how well you will care for a dog.
