Depends on your budget, where you live and who with and of course the weather.

Having a day off is the time to chill and relax and enjoy yourself. Needn't cost a fortune and you needn't join the queues on the road.

Suggest a picnic and stroll through the woods, park or along the seashore - can't beat them.

Whatever you do, wherever you go have a wonderful time and be happy, enjoying those you are with.

You could go to Rochester - a great town and a castle. Also a port. Lots to do and see there, very historical.

Otherwise, if you want beach, one of my favourite beaches is Seaford, which is not very far from Brighton. The easiest way is to go towards Brighton, then turn left onto to A27, then it is signposted. You can park right near the beach and there is a cliff walk nearby.

I hope that helps:>)

Where do you live? You can go to the beach, the movies, hiking in the mountains, to a museum, just out for a long drive, fishing, boating, to a new restaurant..... the list is endless. It just depends on where you live and what your interests are, You can even spend the day working on your house or reading, etc, etc.....
