In my eyes these are too immodest and cause other guys to stare but she is pleading with me to let her wear one.....what should I do?

You should "let" her do whatever she wants. She's your girlfriend not your child. Besides, why not show off what's yours? Let the others envy you. If you are good to her she could walk naked and no man could sway her. If you are bad to her she could wear a nun's habit and leave you in a heartbeat. Some one else is always looking no matter what she is wearing. Some guy, right now is sitting and watching women turn door nobs because it gets him hot. A bikini is light stuff.

Why would she need to ask you for permission? I can understand asking your opinion but for her to ask permission already says there is a problem, and for you to use the terminology " should I let her" indicates you feel superior over her and that is something that will come to bite you in the butt when she realizes you have been dictating her life and decides to rebel.
No one should tell another person how to dress if you can't handle other guys looking at her maybe you need to check out your own insecurities. Don't you look at women wearing two piece bathing suits?
Ahh see the double edge sword.

The key here is "should I let her". The relationship is in trouble right there. I think she should wear the two piece if that is what she wants to do. In a healthy relationship you should be happy that others notice her and be proud that she wants to be with you. She should not have to plead for anything and neither of you should put the other in a position be so degraded.

WHAT! Your gf can wear whatever she wants. You don't LET her wear things. If she has a brain in her head she will realize that she has freewill and doesn't live somewhere like 'Iran' where men control the women. I can't believe that things like this still go on this day and age. Consider this: Do you ask her permission to wear certain things or do things? Come on, lets be for real now.

YOU NEED TO TRUST HER ITS NOT WHAT SHE WEARS IF SHES GONNA DISRESPECT YOU SHES GONNA DO IT IN A TWO PIECE BATHING SUIT LIKE SHE'LL DO IT IN ONE PIECE OR WHAT EVER SHE WEARS SO ITS NOT WHAT SHE WEARS ITS HOW SHE CARRIES HERSELF RESPECT HERSELF AND RESPECT YOU, GUYS ARE GONNA LOOK BUT HEY THAT GOES TO SHOW YOU YOU GOT A GOOD LOOKING GIRL AND ANYWAY YOU CAN'T SAY YOU DON'T LOOK AT OTHER GIRLS BUT ITS ALL ABOUT RESPECT TOWARDS EACH OTHER.ONE MORE THING IT'S BETTER TO AGREE WITH YOUR GIRL THAN TO ALLOW HER TO DO CERTAIN THINGS SHE IS HER OWN PERSON YOU BOTH SHOULD COME TO AN AGREEMENT NOT THAT YOU MAKE THE DECISIONS CAUSE THAT MAKES YOU SOUND LIKE A CONTROLLING, MANIPULATIVE, MAN AND THAT'S NOT COOL AT ALL.

let her? she is her own person and you have absolutly NO right to tell her what she can and cannot wear. It you dont like it explain to her why, and maybe you guys can compromise.
But being this controlling will only cause co-dependancy for both of you and wreck the relationship.

YES!!!!! You're controlling her! You have no say whatsoever in what she wears! It shouldn't matter if other guys stare! She loves you, cause if she didn't, she would have left by now. You should let her wear what she likes!!!!

dude look at it this way, you are the luck guy that is dating her!!! its not the other guys that are looking at her ITS YOU. she is with u. let her wear it if it makes her happy but when you see other guys looking at her remember what i said. u the lucky guy. i had the same problem till i knew i was my girlfriends boyfriend and i was the lucky one. if a guy makes a move on her tell them u are with her and are in a serious relationship. good luck

you should probably let her wear it. you may think that shows to much but you'll probably have some problems with your girlfriend over it. like she might get mad because your controlling what she wears or something like that. and plus it's not like she going to dress like that all the time.
