those that have not had the chance to know Christ and make a conscience decision to accept Christ are saved by Christs death. This inlcudes the mentally handiacap that have no clue who Jesus is.

Not 100% sure, but it says Jesus touched a younger person, maybe 8 or 10 years old and said that they were so innocent at that age, they would go to Heaven, regardless.
But these days, I think the age is a little less important. Our children and our children's children aren't so 'innocent' anymore with all the smut they can find on-line if they look for it.
It's a shame it has to be that way. By 10 years old, and that's being conservative, most kids these days know how to get on-line and see almost anything. That's not good for a developing mind, and we know that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste".

I once heard a Baptist preacher saying that parents should not let their children celebrate Halloween, because it glorifies the devil (so he said). He was urging people to have church parties with an emphasis on dressing up in Biblical costumes, instead of the usual witches & goblins themes . When I asked him later about this, he said that he was taking this stance so that the Lord would not cast children into hell for making a wrong choice.
Then again, one of my friends went to a Halloween party (for adults) in the church hall of his local Pentecostal church. They had a great time and it was all clean fun. Even their pastor and assistant pastor attended (everybody got dressed up in typical Halloween costumes).
So, go figure. How is it OK for adults in one church to do it, and yet in another church, they are fearing that kids won't go to heaven -- for the same thing. They're both preaching salvation and heaven but the standards are inconsistent. Is this a legitimate concern that children will be denied entrance in Heaven because of something like this?

Sin comes only with the knowledge of knowing what sin is, So the Age of Accountability is different for every one. according to their intellect, Children are not yet Accountable.
