You have to be so careful meeting someone on line. The thing is, you really have no idea who this person is. Now a days, you cant trust so easily--too many things happen to vulnerable people. There is no such thing is being too cautious. Its OK to have friends on line but I think it would be wise not to give out any information like where you live etc. Please be careful

come on! You "talked for 5 hours" and don't know what to say to him. What was in those 5 hours? Dead air? You talk about what you talked about. The things you have in common, but also the things you are curious about. See what you can learn about life from him, and begin to share your experiences, a little at a time, until you build trust. Don't make stuff up; be honest. Don't let him get away with dishonest response, either.
BTW, he's an on-line acquaintance, not a "friend". A true friend will actually die for you. Certainly someone you've just met, and talked to online cannot be your "best friend", yet. He's not going to love you until he gets to know you personally. This guy may never love you, nor you, him. When and if it happens, it happens.
BTW, you DO know the difference between lust and love, don't you?
