i would suggest sending him outside to play where he does a lot of running around, or get him involved in a sport. Also substitue soda for sugar free juices, and candy for fruit and veggies

ok first of all enable me assist you to already know that i'm no longer right here to lecture you approximately eating healthful and blah blah blah cuz im advantageous you have heard all of it earlier...the element is a few of that stuff is genuine! have you ever heard of pup fat? properly thats probable what you have have been given. you could lose it by utilising changing you're eating behavior. in certainty much less junk and greater clean, healthful ingredients like fruit and veg, lean (you cant see great blobs of fat) meat and fish, finished grains, low fat dairy (milk, cheese and yogurt) and the no longer so healthful stuff carefully. 4 weeks isn't a real looking time-physique to lose 10 kg and whether you do do it, the burden will in simple terms pile up as quickly as you give up although crash weight loss application you used. unfortunetly, the internet may be an extremely risky place with countless extreme weight-reduction plan techniques going around, so be careful. remember, you're nevertheless starting to be (upwards!) and so slicing too many energy will give up that from happening. So think of healthful ingredients and excercise approximately 3-4 situations a week. Dance is superb cuz you could circulate on for a while devoid of feeling it. in certainty, dont problem too lots...as long as you know and get rid of any undesirable eating behavior like eating a huge bag of chips infront of the television after dinner....you ought to be ok! stable luck

Plenty of exercise, good rest and healthy eating. To ensure good rest, take the TV out of the child's bedroom so when he has to go to bed he has to go to sleep right then. More time playing and running around OUTSIDE instead of in front of a TV or computer screen would help too. Get him involved in some activities, soccer, football, baseball, or some recreational sport. Lots of encouragement helps too. Best of luck!

Well, if he is nine, than keep in mind that you control everything that he eats. You don't have to make it a whole "we're going to eat differently because you're fat" thing, because that will only make him feel bad about himself. For the same reason you shouldn't change his eating habits and not his siblings'. It will do everyone good to eat well. Just quietly make changes in the food you buy and serve.

Stop buying soda for the house, or high-sugar drinks. Go for juices with 100% juice, like Juicy Juice or 100% orange juices. Buy low-fat or skim milk instead of whole milk, and have all your kids (if you have more than one) drink it at dinner. Also, don't have high-fat foods like ice cream or snack cakes sitting around the house. Knowing that they are there, and that he's not supposed to have them, will only make him feel bad about the changes in his diet.

Try to make dinners that are nutritious. Even if you aren't cooking from scratch you can do this by making sure there is one fresh green vegetable every night. Even if he doesn't want to eat it, say he has to try it, to eat one bite of it. Kids eat what they are used to having around, and if broccoli or salads or spinach become regular things to eat at dinner, he will eventually eat them without fuss. If you can, pack his lunch everyday instead of having him eat school food, so you can control the fat and sugar content of what he's eating. Also, don't give him spending money everyday that he'll use to by hugs or some other bad food at a corner store. Pack him a sandwich, a piece of fruit, some low-fat yogurt or some vegetables, and some good drink with a high percentage of fruit juice. If you want to give him something sweet try a few pieces of hard candy: they satisfy a sweet tooth but have relatively few calories. Like I said, don't treat him differently than any siblings he might have. He'll feel pretty crappy if his brother gets a donut and he gets carrot sticks.

Try to get him interested in a physical activity that he would enjoy. Not everyone is made for team sports like basketball or baseball. I know I always hated team sports, because I never thought I was good at them, but later in life I got really into martial arts and yoga, because you work at your own pace and set your own goals. Especially if your son likes to play martial arts video games or like kung-fu movies, he might really like to be able to perform the moves himself. Ask him what he'd like to do and let him do it!

I heard from a doctor once that children should not lose weight but they should not gain more, that way they will lose it when they are taller, just watch what he eats, avoid Pepsi , junk food and sweets, make it a habit that he has lots of fruits and salad and join him in sports teams.

wow im 5"4 and i weight 100 pounds..
well i think its normal and that when he hits puberty things will start to turn around a bit..you can also suggest some after school activites to him such as basketball, softaball, soccer etc. activites are great and are more effective then just limiting his food :]

I'd throw the XBox out the window, and get him to play outside. I would also keep the sodas, chips, McDonald's, and sugar sweetened junk out of his diet.
