Of course!
Let me put it in these terms:
17 year old punk: No job, no vehicle, no home, no money, immature, inexperienced
27 year old man: Has a career, a car, a home, spending money, mature, experienced.
You, and all other younger girls out there, we're perfect for you!

Depends on how old you are. If you're of age, and you are both on the same maturity level it is not such a big deal.
If you're 12, and he's more than 10 years older than you, then NO it's not okay. Y'all are NOT going to be on the same level, emotionally, or PHYSICALLY speaking.
If you're 16 and he's more than 10 years older than you, the same as above applies!
If you're 25 and he's 35.. That's different..
But even a person in their early 20's dating someone 10 years older can sometimes present conflicts. Someone in their early 20's is probably more interested in their social life, and parties, etc than settling down (as most people entering their mid to late 30's are)...

I don't think our personal happiness and love lives should have limits placed on them by society. Who's right is it to tell someone they shouldn't be in love simply because of age? There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

I actually date someone that is 14 years older than me. I think that it truly depends on how old you are. If you are old enough to make a responsible decision than it doesn't really matter. I too struggled with the age difference when I first started dating my boyfriend but I feel that it doesn't matter anymore because I feel totally different than I ever did with guys that were close to my age.
