My brother-in-law just bought a house where there was a room that said witchkwaft (yes, spelled this way) on the door, weird symbols on an old wooden bed backboard and under the floor, pennies put all around the room in every room. Being Wiccan, I've never heard of such a thing. Is this just some stupid joke or something being played, or is it perhaps a real spell???? Thanks Serious answers only please!!!!

Am not new to Wicca. Been practicing for over four years. I've done rituals involving pennies, and copper to ward off evil, but never heard of such a thing. Just wanted everyones take on this. I figured it was someone who didn't know what he/she was doing.

i dont think the people who wrote that and placed the pennies knew what they were doing exactly, they might have been impelled by the entities that walk through the house and into the back garden/ also the name rose seems important. anyways just do a sageing and a prayer for positivity/ get rid of the pennies ...throw them away (dont burn them) ..........i get some neg feelings around the back yard is there an old tree around>? ok anyways try that ~~also salt at the doorways that helps sometimes ......................blessings to you and yours

Contrary to popular belief, I know for a fact it is not Vodou (voodoo as you spelled it). I am familiar with Hoodoo (african folk magic) and I have never heard of anything like that. Try doing some research and see if they symbols actually mean anything.
If I was you I would gather the pennies, roll them, and put them in the bank. I sounds like a someone was playing a joke. Why would they spell witchcraft in the that way. Do a cleansing if it bother you that much.

There is a protection spell were you have to put objects in every room of the house.Than there is the pennies that could be used for a money spell. I never heard of such a spell and i was born into a wiccan familey. I think it is a joke.

Whatever someone was doing or practicing in the house before he moved in is just that - something that someone did before he moved in.
Lots of people have some kind of "thing" with symbols, and - who knows - maybe somebody thought the pennies would bring good luck or wealth or something.
He shouldn't worry about it. It could have been somebody's fourteen-year-old kid for all anyone knows. Its not likely to be any real spell.

Making somebody love you extra might desire to be the worst use of any magic spells using fact it particularly is a unfastened will. What comes from coronary heart is extra spiritually organic then what's made by using some debatable magical spells. i'm no longer skeptic and that i've got self belief in those cults yet i does not use it for this clarification for the guy's sake, he's a guy no longer a robotic waiting for instantaneous command to act. desire you understood what I recommend.

Sounds like some pre-teen who is playing games and got hold of some fake literature. It sounds a little like a mixture of magik and Santeria. I would not worry if I were you. You must be new to Wicca.
Am wondering why anyone would leave a headboard, get rid of it, spend the pennies , wash or paint over the signs. Witchkwaft sounds like Elmer Fudd. Not to worry, blessed be.

If it is a joke there is nothing to worry about.
If there is an evil spirit(s) involved, it will become obvious. If that happens, the only solution is to cast out any evil spirit(s) in the name of Jesus Christ. Of course, even that will work only if your brother or someone he knows is actually filled with the Holy Ghost - which most "christians" aren't, due to false teaching from their spiritual leaders.

There are spells involving pennies that I know of. What you are probably looking at is hoodoo, voodoo, black majic or simple nonsense. I'd have to see the symbols to tell you any more.. Symbols I know something about...The reason I say black majic is that the headboard was hidden.

whatever is there, it is just the remnant litter left behind by the previous occupant of the space...
I would suggest you sweep all the rooms and sweep all the old %%%% (whatever) in an out with the old in with the new ritual you model as you see fit.
Imprint your energy into your space and the other things(pennies and whatever other bits you think were left as talismans) can be burried in the back yard as you see fit.
its your home now so just claim it.

Yes, this does sound quite a bit like voodoo practices. luckymojo.com is a very good resource on the practice of voodoo trick-laying--as well as ways to clear out/negate the influence of any tricks that have been laid.
