No.
While truth may be a "relative term" in regards to human contradictions, - it can not be deemed "relative" when viewed within a particualar "relativity".
Got that?

"Faith in solid truth"? You're conflating two things here.
Truth is not relative. There are true propositions and false propositions, and they're not just "true for me" or "false for me". For example, 2+2 does equal 4. The Earth does orbit the Sun. Our genes influence our physical and psychological characteristics. In general, people favor blood relatives over others. People are more motivated by short-term considerations than by long-term ones. There are no such things as "gods" or "souls", and consciousness ends at death. All of those are true propositions - not "true for me", but simply true.
Faith is an entirely different matter. Faith comes into play when one decides to believe things for which there is no evidence. The belief that truth is relative extends well beyond just those things for which there is no evidence, and so well beyond the question of faith. The fact that someone has faith in something (that there is no evidence...) does not make that thing false, but of course it also does not make it true.
It seems that the religious right has concluded that the reason that people disagree with some of their religious beliefs is that those people think that truth is relative. Many people do believe that truth is relative, but the problem with supernatural religious beliefs is not that they're overly absolutist, but simply that they're false. The solid truth is that there are no gods or souls or life after death.

Truth can be known. (John 8:32)
Truth can and must be obeyed. (Romans 2:8, 1 Peter 1:22)
God's word is truth. (John 17:17)
God's word came not from private interpretations. (2 Peter 1:20, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We can determine if someone is teaching truth be a comparison to the scriptures (Acts 17:11, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Truth is always true. Truth is not relative. If everything is relative, then there is no truth at all, no true standard. But there is a standard! There is truth!
The only problem is many don't want to accept truth, but that does not make it any less true. Many "will not endure sound doctrine"!
Notice 2 Timothy 4:
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers..."

There are few solid truths. That which is taboo in your world is or has been perfectly acceptable in another's. Even those things that one would assume are universal are in fact not. Name them? Alright: murder has often been an instrument of state policy throughout history and in fact, is a policy of the current United States Government. Sexual abuse of children is something the world condemns today, but in recent history, it was accepted and even expected. I refer you to ancient Rome, to ancient Egypt and the Ottoman Empire. The Christian God is recorded time after time as demanding wholesale butchery of various groups of people as well as sanctioning the enslavement of young females particularly for the sexual pleasure of the conqueror (read your Bible).
Solid truth? The universe is expanding. Water is wet. Gold has more aesthetic appeal than iron. Those are solid truths yet even these, but for the expanding universe, are not permanent truths. Deal with it.

truth is absolutely solid term. it is not relative. But the moment you say having faith in truth, it becomes relative. First thing is that the truth is truth no better you believe it or not. Actually faith is about false thing. you don't need to have faith in truth but the false need your faith your belief in it.inf act false is no more than your faith or belief. so don't confuse truth with faith and beliefs. it is something beyond them.it is concrete .

Well, if you take 'truth' to mean a 'fact' about 'objective reality', then there is only one 'truth'. The problem is that we don't have direct access to objective reality... and even if we DID have access to it, it is so far from our 'subjective' world that there is no way that we cound interpret it or understand it.
'Belief' and 'faith' are both irrelevant... what is, IS... whether we believe it, or have faith in it, or not.
Basically, you have two options:
* Adopt some faith-based delusion, so as to fool yourself into THINKING that you have privledged access to the 'truth' (religion).
* Acknowledge the fact of our innate ignorance about ultimate reality, and soldier on in a search for 'truth', without any expectation of ever finding it.

Not everything is relative. But many truths are difficult to know or understand. So we have to do the best with what we have. Strive for the truth, and accept the fact we'll never know everything.

If I say that there is each little thing referred to as typical fact, then doubtless it contradicts your fact, yet i think of it truly is basically yet in a diverse thank you to look on the comparable subject. If I have been to correctly known each little thing, i grew to become into to alter into each little thing - for the ideal definition of an apple is basically that apple. there is no longer something interior the international which could clarify myself extra effective than a presentation of my own self. If I have been each little thing than i may well be no longer something interior the way i'm as a objective of being myself, i might then be a objective of being each little thing, meaning no longer something in specific. actual the objective in existence is a objective to be, while actual the applications of all of the varieties in existence, as i'm, are the applications for all those issues to be what mot particularly they are. I we at the instant are not a objective in our very own genuine then we are the closest more suitable objective which would be.

There is truth. But when applied to humans we tend to view it as relative, because there are things in our makeup that force us, or seduce us, to choose the method or path that benefits us the most. Thus God has given us a pair of guides; the scripture and the holy spirit. Truth, and learning to live a truthful life are a process, not simply something that happens. We are not perfect, thus our adopting this path into our lives, remains, imperfect. But my goal will always be to be more truthful, not only to myself, but to others. But I must rely on a truth that is beyond my human strength, and follow the guides given to me.
