Who made the decisions as to what books were included in the Bible? 2 Part answer:
1. The Catholics and Protestants have both agreed what books are included in the Matthew-Revelation portion of the Bible. I I believe presently, this part was settled no later than the Council of Nicea (or before) roughly, 325 AD.
2. The place they differ on is the books between Genesis-Malachi. I will suggest that the asker study that part for them self. I will offer these tidbits for the user to research; the Jews get the scriptural foundation for Hanukkah from 1 Maccabees 4. The Dead Sea Scrolls contain the 'Catholic books, that the Protestant Bible does not. (I was raised in a Protestant congregation).

petter was the first leader after Jesus death but the bible was not put together for several centuries the torrah old testiment already excisted but the newtestiment and some other books wore added latter sorry not sure when
