My fiance and I can't seem to talk through some of these things and I'm looking for an email address for someone I can point my questions toward. I'm looking for an unbiased professional individal who can field my questions concerning Christianity. I would prefer contact with someone in the clergy.

Sorry to one of the responders. I should have been more clear. I don't have a denomination. You see, my fiance is Christian and I am not. She has a hard time answering my questions and I really would like to learn about it, but she thinks my questions are pointed and controversial so she won't answer them. Honestly, I just would love to learn more about my fiance and her spirituality. For the record, she is Baptist.

Brianna, I don't want to become Christian because my fiance is, nor does she want me to make that decision for that reason. She wants me to be a Christian, yes, but she wants it on my own terms. As of now, I have absolutely no intention at all of becoming a Christian. I am simply looking for a place that I can ask my questions. As I said in my original question, I simply want to learn more about her faith.

I saw someone post this a couple days ago and I checked it out myself and thought it was pretty helpful. Of course, these questions are answered by Christians so I don't know if you would consider that unbiased.

I don't know what kind of questions you have but they have a LOT answered on this site and you can send in your question if they don't already have it answered. I wish you luck. I'm not sure why you have no intention of becoming a Christian but I think it's good that you are at least open to it.

I am a seminary graduate and hold postgraduate degrees in theology, but I am not an ordained minister. I would be able to answer general questions, but I wonder whether what might be best for the two of you is some counseling together?

I am not in the clergy myself, and probably never will be. I am, however, a well-read intelligent Christian who would be more than happy to do my best to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to send me an e-mail at NathanGJedi@hotmail.com.

I would not rely on a pastor because every professional pastor out there will have their own denominational dogma that they must adhere to and they all will have a different slant on things.
You would be better off finding someone who has a strong Biblical knowledge but did not attend a Seminary. Someone who was taught by Christ and not by men.

try someone who was once christian, they had thier reasons for leaving, i have a close friend in australia who did extensive research on christianity.
If you talk to a clergy its like talking to a used car salesman they will want you to be a christian no matter what the cost. Thats not very unbiased is it?

aaron.lattin,
You might want to add to your question an indication of your denomination. If you are a Roman Catholic, you might want a member of the clergy that is sympathetic to your affiliation.
