Acura TL - I own one - they are great - I drove it cross country this year to CA and back here to RI. If not the TL take a look at the RL.http://www.acura.com/

I guess it really depends on what kind of car you are looking for. We just purchased a Mercury Millian 6cyl. The engine is the same as the Mazada 6. Its an automatic 6speed and truly moves like a 8cyl. The Millian goes from 18k-24k. I've been parked next to BMW, Mercedes, Acuras etc that have similar body styles and they can't keep up with me on the highway. Not sure if this is what you had in mind but its worth the test drive. If you want somthing alittle nicer looking try the Lincoln Zypher same engine just more goodies, starts in the low 20's! Good luck.

The 2007 BMW 335i coupe is an awsome car, and performs close to a 2006 M3. It's due shortly, although I did get in a 328i coupe, and even that's nice. But for a starting price of 40600, you add sport and premium, and your around 45-46. Awesome car for the money.

Toyota Camry's are very good QUALITY cars. We own a Toyota Tundra 4x4 & a Toyota Rav 4. They have not given us a days trouble. Just be sure to keep up on the maintenance (oil, filter, belts, power steering fluid, brake fliud, etc.) These vehicles always get very high ranks in Consumer Reports, Car & Driver, etc.
I guess it's a case of getting what you pay for!!!!

You won't believe the performance you get outta these cars for their price. Best bang for the buck performance cars.
