best to call Spain or check in a Spain website, one can see that there are answers all over the brd with this one, i see that some say yes and some say no, wow!
Best to call the country you're going to, but why on earth wouldnt you just want to buy a new phone there? they are so cheap there, and work great and you wont run the risk of burning the building with fired wires..!

I wanted to bring a japanese phone back to the UK, but BT got really cross with me and I was told catagorically that I was not allowed and that it could be dangerous! So I would check with the local telecommunication company in Spain - they might not be quite so anal!

When i first looked at this question i thought you meant if you just take the recever! haha
anyway no i dont know the answer, i think phone thingies work all over the world only you have to have a land line to plug it in.

yes it will at the most you will need a cable from telephone to wall socket changed. you can use cable from any old telephone already in spain.

will work 100% brought one from russia and china to the USA and all worked ok
