My best friend is a girl and I have known her for about 2 years and have pretty much always had a crush on her, but now I really love her. I have never told her, but you know how friends know things and friends told her I might like her. She said that she valued me too much as a friend for anything to come of it. She also recently got a new bf. Yesterday they were both online and we were tlking on msn. She kept saying she was busy and couldnt talk, so I talked to her bf (who is really great and we get along great) and I asked him if she was odd with me. He said that she wasnt, but that she thought I was odd with her. Things have been kind of awkward recently, what do you think she is thinking? What should I do?

i think you should talk to your friend face to face, and tell her about your feelings, it will be out in the open then, seeing as she seems to know how you feel already, things are probably just a bit awkward because she's afraid she's hurt you, but a good talk and heart to heart will sort it out

I've never been through this before but I'll try to help by putting my self in your shoes..you said that she is your best friend then how come she says that you've been odd to her!!..try to act normal with her,try to change your feelings by thinking of her as a friend and just a friend..i know it's hard but i guess this is the only option that you have so you won't suffer..i don't know if you are deeply in love with her but i don't think you would've asked for help if you were not(right??)..i know that there is someone out there for each of us..you have to get over her and YOU are the only one who can help you..i wish that i helped you with what i said to you..best wishes

She really does like you just as a friend. You should be happy. She's is too kind to just tell you to back off, she has another boyfriend. Don't be pathetic and hang around her now that she's told you how she feels. Get a different girlfriend.

What you should do is Butt Out! You are using this "friend thing" as an excuse to be with her. SHe told you............you can never be more than friends! Now, back off..........stop bother ing her and her boyfriend becasue it will back fire on you. If you need a friend, get some guy friends to hang with.

It is common to think you are in love with a good friend, but she obviously doesnt feel the same, so unless you wat to lose her all together deal with the feelings & find a reason not to see her like that. Move on & value her friendship.
