thanks everyone for being honest..Koran never Tell's us to kill people because of being nonbelievers THAT'S SO WRONG..we just have to kill those people who takes our country or kills our children..isn't it everyone's right to stand up for themselves!!!...all of you who said that we are supposed to kill non Muslims you should get it right about Islam..we are not Hitler or anything like him..i have got some christian friends and we are getting along with each other...Islam is about believing only in one god, about having the best manners ever, about being so proud of your self no matter what and protecting your self from enemies...i would never kill you Jim b(don't worry i have my own stuff to worry about rather than killing you!!)...Kimmy you don't have to be Muslim you have to know Islam correctly first then you'll choose it by yourself(trust me on this)..good Muslims are trying to speak up for their religion but not all of you are listening...god bless you all

I am a Muslim too, and I live in a very small town.... everyone talks about me cuz' there are only 2 hijabi's here... I can relate.
Try to meet people and always have a positive attitude and let true Islam be reflected by your behavior. I have met many people who either hate Islam or belive the stereotypes and now we are friends.
Never miss a chance for dawah, do it tactfully and not with the intention of changing peoples mind about their own religion. Knowledge is the first step to acceptance. Allah (SWT) guides whom he wills and leads astray whom he wills.
Ramadan is coming.... try to explain it to nonmuslins that would be a great starting point.

well, dear, in the Islamic world there are 'some' people that hate Christians or Catholics too. It's mostly from losing someone to an act of war (or terror, whatever that someone wishes to call it) by the opposing religion.

See, even the 'obeying Gods' orders' can cause trouble when someone gets His voice mixed up with some other voice. I don't see how God would tell us "do not kill" and then say "go kill that unbeliever" tomorrow. He loves the unbeliever and wants us to, too! So I guess it boils down to plain old human foolishness. Ignorance.

I am really sorry you are experiencing being hated and feeling like people are negatively judging you too. We have really failed you. I can only hope you have found more that love you.

I do not hate you but I do know that being I am from the USA I have a target painted on my back for Islam to shoot at. Americans all feel the hate from Islam just as much as you feel the hate back to Islam from the whole world. If muslims and islam wants to take over the world then they need to learn that by force is not how to do it. Islam is too small of a force to do such a thing. And the non believers will fight just the same as the Islam belivers will. The biggest diff that I can see is if an american seen anyone be it black, white, brown or yellow and not just islam trying to set a bomb to blowup someone we would be happy to put a cap in their *** to stop them. I feel Islam would stand on a box and yell that every one must convert to islam or die and then they would help the guy set the bomb.

And I agree that Muslims do follow their Islam beliefs and will kill anyone that don't believe their way. I feel you would be the same. So if I don't want to die or my family to be killed I have to watch you very close to make sure you are not one of the nuts. It is hard to tell which is good or bad being Islam writtings say it is ok to lie to get what you want. And it is written because I have read it.

Lana, I believe people are being misinformed by propaganda that misrepresents what Islam is. If we look at recent history in Christianity, we have James Baker, who went to jail for swindling people, James Jones who called for the murder/suicide of his followers, and several priests who committed sexual crimes against children. As a Christian, I would hate to be associated with these criminals; just like Muslims who follow Islam do not want to be associated with terrorists and murders. We were created by the same God and most of us live in service and love for each other. People who misrepresent and insult you because you are Muslim may call themselves Christians but they are not. Terrorists can say they are following Islam; but they are not. As for all of us who are faithfully following God; he knows us and we know him. Peace be with you, my sister.

Don't feel bad! People are bashing Islam and insult me at every chance that doesn't mean I will give up. They know that Islam is a peace loving religion, so there will be haters. No matter what other people are saying we have to be strong about Islam and wisdom. We are in the true and straight path and we know it. May Allah enlighten their mind and wisdom. Ameen

The reason we don't like muslims is because they CUT PEOPLE'S HEADS OFF and fly planes into buildings. Not all muslims do this, but all the people that cut people's heads off and fly planes into buildings ARE ALL MUSLIM. I've read the koran, in 8:12 is says "strike terror in their hearts, cut off their heads and fingers", so that's why I'm so bigotted against muslims.

One thing I've noticed is people that say the terrorists are misinterrupting the koran HAVEN'T READ THE KORAN. The koran is quite clear!

Jim, we don't have to fight a holy war, we can just let them kill us or we can all become muslims. Which do you prefer?

People hate other people out of fear and misinformation.
I don't understand how individuals are hated just because they are a part of a group. I wasn't raised that way. I was taught that God loves us all and because of that I should.
I was also taught to hate the sin, not the sinner. If a person offends you you can hate their actions but not them as a person.

I don't hate Muslims. It's the small percentage of moronic idiotic Muslims that have interpreted the Koran that they must kill all non-Muslims. Try and have a good day !

Because in the Koran, it speaks very specifically about believers not being allowed to kill other believers. The Muslims that everyone hears about want to kill everyone who doesn't believe the exact same way that they do. In my opinion, there is no difference between a typical Muslim and Adolf Hitler, they both want to dominate the whole world and force everyone to believe the way they do.
