I am writing a book in MS Word 2000 and from line to line the format keeps changing. Can anyone help me?

Things go well for a page or two and the the program skips 2 to 3 or more lines and will not let me backspace the writing back into place. Any suggestions that might help?

use a word template for creating book.

Why you are writing a book on MS Word 2000 and not on MS Word 2003.

Have you set the line spacing this could be your problem check this out ok
