He's being honest, thats good. Just make sure it does stay clear "look but dont touch" If you are gonna stay in there just find humor in it & dont let it make you feel bad, make sure he is letting you know you are #1 in his eyes. :)

Rag about his assets? Sounds like he is full of himself and thinks he can do better than you. He thinks you should feel lucky to have him. If you don't feel that way and think you can do better, send him packing. If you don't think you can do better than him and are afraid he might stray, but you don't want to lose him, you might consider bringing another female into the relationship, but if your not comfortable with that then can him.
