You need a video editor, something to rip the video/audio data, and re-process it with, then use a high-end program for compositing or video editor to recombine/merge. A simple program that comes with Windows XP called Windows Movie Maker combines some content, if you wanna go for more professional methods you'll need to use some sort of video editing sweet along with high-end graphics and possibley audio editing software. Type searches in search engine such as Free Video Editor, can use tools such as Windows Movie Maker 2.1, Virtual Dub, DVDAVI, or other's such as Techsmith's Snagit or Camtasia, Jasc Software, Lightwave, Maya.

Here's a ton of editing software and information:

NEED MORE INFO. WHAT IS YOUR CLIP SOURCE? DVD? DOWNLOADED VIDEO? TV TUNER? NEED MORE INFO

Some tools work great for a type of video, but cannot even HANDLE other types. There is usually different tools best for each type. I in years have never encountered a DO ALL application to handle video from any source. Will may run into format issues, rights issues, or dvd encryption for example.

You cant do that for resale. But for fun theres nothign wrong with it.
What is your movie source? A Video file? A DVD? Need more info.
