I agree completely. I know a large number of people like this. Friends enemies and my boss.

Let's examine your question. You begin by asking "why are Christians so hypocrites?" Perhaps you meant "such hypocrites, but even if that is the case, you must first establish and support with verifiable evidence that Christians are hypocrites. You would have to define what you mean by "Christians," a difficult task, as even most Christians can't agree on a uniform description. Then we'd have to determine what you mean by "hypocrites." Once you've managed to resolve these issues, you might begin to examine the motivation or causative factors.
You might also want to examine whether in fact "the majority of you are intolerant ignorant fools." Have you conducted any research into "the majority of you," or are you making an unwarranted assumption without examining the facts?

There are tolerant and intolerant Christians. Being Jewish, I have run into both. Your statements seem to have a goal of getting inflamed responses, as opposed to being really a serious question.
For example, you say that "...the majority of you are intolerant ignorant fools." Do you really believe the majority of Christians are fools? I don't think you really believe that. I think you want to get inflamed responses.
If you really believe what you say, then I disagree with you. That doesn't make me a hypocrite. It simply means I don't believe what you believe.

All people are hypocritcal of something at one time in their lives. Even you. We also might think one way when we are 15 yrs old and think the opposite when we are 30. Our thoughts change as we grow and mature and learn more.
I am Catholic and like to think I am tolerant but I find myself judgmental at times. I need to stop that. I have never attack another person because of their beliefs, knowledge or lack of. What would I gain from attacking others. I like to ask questions and learn why people think the way they do. I think all religions and nonbelievers and doubters are interesting. I learn new things every day and some times listening to a nonbelievers makes me stronger in my own faith.
So don't ask why Christians are hypocrites. Ask why people are often hypocrites.

Well, we tolerate people and their beliefs in the sense that we still try to love and care for them. But if it's about tolerating any belief as to be true, we can't not. We have faith that the bible is the living truth, and it doesn't change. It's been proven manytimes that it rings truth in it. But you are right about that some christians find it hard not to fire back with insults to those who hate them. Yes, I am a hybocrite in many ways. But if you think the Christians are supposed to be perfect, your wrong. We struggle with a lot of things just as much as everyone else. It's because we're not perfect that we are Christians. We are saying that we are imperfect and need God's grace and forgiveness for our sins we keep on comitting.

Hey, you just gotta remember that sadly, some people are so closed minded that if you dont fit their profile of who you OUGHT to be, than your just another person in their mind who they see as unworthy. But hey, why would you wanna spend your time around people like that anyway? i'm christian and i accept any and everyone, no matter the circumstances, i would never impose the little bit of faith i have on someone else. Hope that helps.

Anybody who tries to hold themselves to unattainable standards will SEEM like a hypocrite.
Christians aren't anymore hypocritical than people who fail to meet their new years resolutions or people who cheat on their taxes. To err is human. Christians just have a format for the rules they can't keep, that's not enough of a reason to blanketly label them ALL hypocrites.

Christians who are hypocrites are one of two things; not really Christian making a mess of the name "Christian." Or messed up human beings that make mistakes.
As one great philosopher put it, "To err is human, to forgive is divine."--Alexander Pope.
The Bible tells Christians, and Jews for that matter not to bow down to any religion. So they are not allowed to make that decision for themselves, at least not if they want to follow what the Bible teaches.

I'm a christian and I'm not a hypocrite. I'm very tolerant actually, and I don't "hate" people who aren't Christians. Actually I have a friend who's atheist and she's bi. And she's one of the most awesome people ever. I don't hate anybody. Actually I like gay/bi people better than straight people.
