I purchased a steamer -- and used that. It will take TIME -- plenty of time to carefully remove the wallpaper and not damage too badly the sheetrock underneath. Be aware -- you will need to patch, but hopefully if you are taking your time -- it will be a small amount.

Go to a place like Home Depot and buy a wall papper remover, it fits in your hand and is used to scare the serfice and dip, which you soak the wall papper in and a wide putty knife to scrape it off with, it is really easy to do. you have to get a scorer roll it around on the wall,do this in a small spot first because if it was not painted before you will mess the drywall up.if it hasnt been painted before you are in trouble because if you steam it off part of the DW will come off with the WP and then you may have to retexture.GL

you need a perforated roller to penetrate the paper, then with chemicle spray and a putty knife it can be scraped off following the directions on the product you choose or perforating the paper makes steaming it off easier. all can be gotten at home depot or your local hardware
