I've loved him for about two years, and in that time we've dated once for a few months. After the split we have both rejected eachother since then. Now i'm going through a difficult time with my boyfriend , and he's been there every step of the way. I've never been truly over him. The support he's been giving me recently has been astounding. My boyfriend loves me but i don't love him, but i'm told he will be crushed if i walk away. And now this other guy says he's confused about me?What exactly does he mean?

He may have been going through one of those stretches w/o a gf and reminiscincing for what might have been. To test this, you'd have to see how he acts over a longer period of time.

Also, the guy could have just gotten out of a relationship in which case, it's normal to look for a "rebound" person.

Either way, it's best not to do anything too quickly.

As for your current BF, if you don't love him, you can either decide to give it a little more time to fall in love with him, or cut him loose so you both can move on with your lives.

It can be tough to make the decisions, but at least you have some choices.

Best of luck and hope it all works out for you!

Now I am not a mind reader but I get the feeling A, he likes you and B, he doesn't want to get the run around. From his point of view you shouldn't be with some one you don't love and thinks you probably should be with him but is to polite/shy/PC to say it. I would say where do you want to be in a year in five years? who do you see yourself with? By not telling your boyfriend that you don't have feelings for him you are therefore lieing, and being lied to hurts deeper then simple rejection any day of the week

Duh! It means you're involved with one guy, your "boyfriend", while being emotionally intimate with another! Any guy in his right mind would be skeptical of this. You're mistreating and using your current boyfriend. Past performance indicates future behavior. This 2nd guy is wondering who you're gonna be close to while the two of you are going out.

well if the guy is confused about loving you then he can't love you and if you don't love the other guy then break it off because yea that's sad he'll be hurt but you need to think of your own feelings also
